Working closely with the NPD Manager and wider product development team, you will provide hands-on administrative and project support across the product development process, helping to ensure samples, packaging, artwork and product information are managed accurately and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who is organised, hardworking, proactive and hands-on, with a genuine interest in product development and a strong eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the incoming and outgoing sample process, ensuring samples are received, logged, organised, tracked and distributed to the relevant teams.
Coordinate samples with suppliers, manufacturers and internal stakeholders.
Work closely with the NPD Manager to support projects and ensure development timelines are maintained.
Assist with product testing, sample reviews and the coordination of testing requirements.
Maintain accurate records of samples, product information, testing and project updates.
Support the artwork and packaging approval process, ensuring the correct versions are being used and circulated.
Review packaging and artwork documentation, checking information carefully and flagging any discrepancies.
Assist with packaging development, including liaising with suppliers and coordinating packaging samples.
Help manage product development documentation, specifications, approvals and project trackers.
Coordinate product samples and packaging between internal departments and external suppliers.
Assist with product launches and ensure all relevant development information is up to date.
Keep project timelines and trackers updated and communicate any delays or issues to the NPD Manager.
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers regarding samples, packaging, artwork and product development requirements.
Support the wider NPD team with general administration and project coordination.
Ensure all documentation is organised, accurate and easily accessible.
Help ensure products progress through the NPD process efficiently and to the required deadlines.
About You
We are looking for someone who has previous experience within an NPD, New Product Development, product development or similar environment, ideally within beauty, cosmetics, skincare, haircare, personal care or FMCG.
You will ideally have:

Experience managing samples and sample administration.
Experience working with artwork and packaging.
An understanding of the NPD process from concept through to launch.
Experience communicating with suppliers, manufacturers and internal teams.

Good IT skills and experience working with Excel, Microsoft Office and project trackers.
A proactive, practical and hands-on approach to your work.
The Personality
This role would suit someone who enjoys being busy and takes pride in getting things done.
You will need to be hardworking, reliable, organised and proactive, with the ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
We are looking for someone who doesn't wait to be asked to do everything and is comfortable rolling their sleeves up, taking ownership and supporting the NPD Manager wherever required.
Attention to detail is particularly important, as you will be dealing with samples, packaging, artwork, specifications and product information where accuracy is essential.
