Location: Fully remote, with occasional travel to the head office in England

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Buyer to join a successful and growing business within the beauty, personal care, toiletries and consumer goods industry.

This is a fully remote position offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to identify, source and develop exciting new products and commercial opportunities. Occasional travel to the company’s head office in England will be required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the buying and sourcing strategy across beauty, personal care, toiletries and wider consumer goods

• Identify exciting new products, suppliers and commercial opportunities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective suppliers

• Negotiate pricing, margins, contracts and commercial terms

• Monitor consumer behaviour, competitor activity and emerging market trends

• Review product and category performance to identify opportunities for growth

• Manage the buying process from initial product identification through to launch

• Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, operations and product development teams

• Ensure ranges remain commercially competitive, relevant and profitable

The ideal candidate

• Previous experience in a Buyer or Senior Buyer position

• Strong experience within beauty, personal care, toiletries or consumer goods

• A proven track record of sourcing successful products and identifying new commercial opportunities

• Excellent supplier management and negotiation skills

• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of pricing, margins and profitability

• Confident working independently within a fully remote position

• Willing and able to travel occasionally to the head office in England
